
ScholarOne to Host 3rd Manuscript Central User Conference in Charlottesville, VA

Thomson Scientific, part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC) and leading provider of information solutions to the worldwide research and business communities, today announced it will be hosting its third ScholarOne Manuscript Central User Conference May 6-8, 2007 at the Boars Head Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia. The conference will kick off on Sunday afternoon with a tour of historic Ash Lawn-Highland, home of James Monroe, a wine tasting and tour of Oakencroft Vineyards, and a welcome reception Sunday evening.
The two-day conference will cover a host of topics that are central to publishers, editors, and administrators who regularly use the product. It will also include role-specific breakout and discussion sessions for users. Some of the topics include: Future Product Direction, Web of Science® Integration, Best Practices for the Editorial Office, Rapid Rollout, Product Integration, Enterprise and Journal Level Reporting, Production Set-up and Efficiency, Product and Infrastructure Roadmaps, and a Publisher Communication Roundtable.
